When I Was Young
.. I built cardboard shelters out of leftover pc monitor boxes. I taped them together and put my stuff in it and slept in it.
I did it out of novelty and I found it amusing.
After a few days I got bored.
I guess the beds prepared by your parents are still the most comfortable ones.
