Site Problems

There seems to be some slight doodoo with secfive.org during my 1 and a half month hiatus towards the end of my semester.

I'll spend the next few days looking into it.

[After a few days]

Seems like its working now. I'll start to regularly post again.

Here i've created a Logo for secfive.org and have also changed the banner abit to reflect the change in my graphical tastes~

Progress and change is good.

Ohhh I love this logo so much, i'd so turn it into a T-Shirt if i had the money and make everyone wear it :P

Mobile Phone Wallpapers

These are the 4 customized wallpapers that i made for my new mobile phone. Apparently my new mobile phone is a Sony Ericsson K750i. Fear not, you wont get another lousy blog phone review. I absolutely abhor that. I'am actually more interested in the wallpapers i made, then the new phone i have. We are not usually interested in the things that comes as expected. And unfortunately, i have an abnormally high standard of expectations for the things i have in life.

The first image is japanese caligraphy. By its text formating, it suggests that this is in ancient times, perhaps in the 16th to 17th century. It is shown as a full page in Volume 5 of Lone Wolf and Cub. This has also been my desktop wallpaper for almost 6 months now. I really love this image.

The text translates to:
True joy is to take pleasure in ones own accomplishments;
Courtesy is to learn from the models of the past.
Do not the ancients say,
in death the wolf turns his head towards the hills ?
This is virtue.

The birds fly, returning to their homeland;
and without fail, the dying wolf turns his head towards the hills.

The second image is of a glorified Motoko Kusanagi, from Ghost in the Shell, in some form of ascension. I have this as my screen saver.

~

Here the first image is of a gothic angel, i am unsure of the source. I love the imposition of the etched circular facade and the wings. A fine piece of art. The second image is that of Motoko Kusanagi again, from the front covers of volume 1, Ghost in the Shell manga.

Shoutout to all the People

I'am pretty sure no one is interested in all the grissly details and intracacies that i have to go through to get past university admission and australian visa. So most naturally, i will not include it here.

Apparently my life has been very exciting since secfive.org has started. For one reason or another, related or otherwise, i've met alot of new people and rediscovered a few old acquiantances. In no particular order, i would like to mention these people for the sake of relevancy, without which all else is naught.

From my Family:
My Father. My Sisters. Shey, AhKoo and my Mother.

From the right wing
Lance, Roger, Asad, Hermione, Liz, Jos, Polyn, David, Adam, Hamid, Ummi, Fuzzy, Fadzil, Xisiang, Sue-Ann, Aaron, Marco, Scotty, Lances Parents, Serene, Gerath, Beverly, Dolly, Reb, Alex, Melina and alot of others whose name i cannot recall. Happy Holidays

With upcoming Christmas and New Year approaching, I wouldnt have enough time or be sober enough to be writing any interesting prose. But before i go off for my season of fun and games, here are some pictures of our trip in Kuala Lumpur in september this year.

On either a friday or saturday night, we went to a lebanese restaurant in some hip region of KL, so here i proudly present you the first picture of myself on secfive.org;

After that we went to Zouk;

and.

And we got home half-dead pissed-drunk. But not before i took a picture of the resident DJ;

Fun :D
Thats all for now, Happy Holidays. Be Happy :)

A Brief History of secfive.org

It has always been a resolution of mine to own and manage my own website eversince I've gotten to know about the internet some odd 8 years ago.

Starting with free hosts and frontpage, I moved on to shell accounts and played with eggdrops then to flash using swish. During the last few years i also played with Windows Server 2003, installing on it II6.0, PHP and MySQL - running php applications like forums, galleries and content management systems and then finally to acquiring my own domain after acquiring credit cards.

Currently i'am experimenting with design and Cascading Style Sheets on secfive.org of which you are reading now.

For the sake of fun, heres another random picture from my collection

I'll let you guess what hes trying to say :)

Greetings

I'am still fleshing out and experimenting with the various features offered by my webhosts and playing around with movable type. secfive.org is blissfully fueling my nights along with trance and tea.

For with purpose comes meaning :D

So to keep you entertained, heres a picture of Foo for those who know him when he was in Form 4.

For those who dont know me, a proper introduction will be in due course in the following days/weeks. Stay tuned.
